Our Vision Artificial Intelligence to measure and improve outcomes for patients with diabetes. Our solutions are made in collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals, so that we truly understand their needs. We then use our experience from the Pharmaceutical Industry to test our solutions so that we know they can help improve outcomes.
Evidence based
Intellin takes the holistic approach to the individual with diabetes, it merges the individual's data with the latest research and recommendations to provide meaningful information. This information is used to support the individual to develop their own holistic personalised care plan. This app is not just about data entering and storage of information, it assists with the interpretation. I personally have already encouraged friends and family members to start using this app to support them in their diabetes journey.

Intellin® is a new type of platform that helps you live with diabetes. For the first time, you can have a personalised assistant that helps you make good decisions, every day, about how best to decrease the risk of complications from your diabetes.
It will allow you to track your diabetes, but also help you make good decisions every day to help you reduce the risk of your diabetes getting worse
Intellin® can now connect to over 150 apps & devices, such as: blood glucose monitors, blood pressure monitors, fitness trackers. We’re working on connecting Intellin® to your other healthcare tools including Apple Health and fitness apps.
If you want to, you can share your information with friends or family - or your healthcare professional
Everything you see on Intellin has been reviewed and ‘signed off’ by our Clinical Team, so you can be sure that it is accurate
Healthcare Professionals
Intellin® is an advance on the current range of diabetes ‘apps’. It goes into far more of the clinical history of your patient and generates a ‘risk profile’ indicating when disease progression is most likely to occur – be it risk of foot ulcer, kidney damage or other consequences of diabetes.
The risk profile engine has been developed in conjunction with Nottingham University, and validated by our Clinical Team
Intellin® has been tested in two proof of concept studies in Gestational Diabetes through a grant won from SBRI Northern Ireland and is currently being used in the INDUCE study to look at the reduction of diabetic foot ulcers at Salford Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Additionally, there is functionality to provide you with a dashboard of key indicators on either individual or cohorts of patients which could allow you to ‘triage’ calls to clinic
Payors and Insurers
Intellin® has the potential to take costs out of the system by empowering people with diabetes to take control of their diabetes and better self-manage.
A cost effective, easily accessible solution, Intellin® is analogous to a ‘black box’ that is used by car insurance companies. By tracking how someone drives, accident risk is reduced. Intellin® brings this principle to the clinical setting. Good daily management can potentially reduce downstream risk and generate considerable savings
Within the NHS, Intellin® fulfils the vision of the 5 year plan by providing appropriate, validated digital technology
For every 1% reduction in HbA1c, there is a relative risk reduction of 21% for any diabetes-related endpoint, 21% for diabetes-related death, and 37% for microvascular complication*.
